The Falaise Tunic is finished
And it actually fits Becky. How's that.

I ended up not making the hood (or pocket) this time to save yarn. Eh, let's just finish it up. Originally, my plan was to make a striped hood, but the way the hood is knitted wouldn't have placed the stripes in the configuration I would have liked.

! ♥ Arts Fest!

Would you believe I stayed in Monte Carlo this weekend? And visited Venice
too?

Didn't think so.

And PSU's Beaver Hall doesn't even come close. The showers were nice though. And someone brought us fresh towels ever day. Actually, I love revisiting my college days by staying in the dorms. Kind of like camping with showers with great water pressure. Someday, I'll show up and they will have converted to low-flo showers and that will be the end of my dorm-camping experience.

Noel loved playing in the halls (a harbinger of what's to come? will he be that annoying guy talking loudly in the halls at 4 am?). Becky liked the bench in the shower room. They both loved the micro-fridge, which required us to visit McLanahan's to buy some microwave popcorn.

We spent about 2 hours analyzing how this guy made popcorn. I kid you not.

I need to buy!

Today, at the grocery store Becky picked up a box of Kix cereal. She loved the purple box I guess and she said to me, "Mawmee, I need to buy. I need to buy." Then she bopped around the store with the box clutched to her chest before taking off for the checkout.
