October 31, 2006 Somewhat Cowl worn Somewhat Different Hello, How are you? Let's see if I can remember how to upload pix to MT.... Here is something I finished up this past Summer but never got a chance to wear, it being alpaca with short sleeves. Can't wear Alpaca in the Summer. Can't wear short sleeves in the Winter. Quandry. Problem. Danger Will Robinson. What to do? Sort of an interesting combo though, don't you think? The short sleeves and the alpaca. Now don't get me wrong, I LOVE this sweater. I'm all about it. But I just cannot wear alpaca and have my arms all cold-like in Pennsylvania weather. So, I wear it like this:
On another note, it was great to see so many old friends and meet some new ones in Rhinebeck. I spent exactly 17.50 (the whole time! not just the first 10 minutes...honest) on about 4 ounces of fiber and didn't spin anything that I recall, but it was good times! PS Disclaimer--I didn't decorate that room.
