Comments: Lavoisier

I have a question about St. Brigid. I want to knit it, but looks like the book is out of print (unless I want to fork over a couple hundred for a used copy). I can't order a kit from virtual yarns without already having the pattern from the original book, is that right? I do so want to knit that sweater. Your yarn is *gorgeous*

Ooooooh, St. Brigid!
Do it!
I seriously want to knit that sweater, maybe this late winter. Got to see if I can get the book through an interlibrary loan. Or, just harrass Interweave with e-mails until they reprint it.:-)
Lavoisier is gorgeous! Just keep knitting. I personally don't think my lace cardi is ever going to end, but I've found that audio books only listened to while knitting really speed up the progress. :-)

Yes, I'm afraid you will HAVE to order a kit and the extra yarn. If you haven't yet seen the yarn you will love it's flecks and depth of color. I already have the Jamieson's for St. Brigid in my stash but if I didn't I'd love to use AS's yarn. One of these days I'll be brave enough to begin my Donegal kit but for now I just keep opening the box and petting the yarn! It's wonderful!!!! (I do believe that you must have the pattern for some of the VY kits although some kits include the pattern with changes for the new yarns. I would email just to be sure.)

Well I was so excited about the VY yarn that I didn't even think about the fact that you already have it and that's why you need more! Time for more coffee I think.

Yes, that free shipping is calling you....

The sweater is coming along great. What a gorgeous color. It looks orangey in the main picture and then when I click for a closeup it is more of a heathery multi-color yarn.

I have some Briggs and Little/Cottage Craft yarn that I got to make St. Brigid but haven't decided yet if I want to tackle something else with it instead.

That's a beautiful sweater, but it sure is big-assed money.
