haha! I second your opinion on the cashmerino aran. Though I'm thinking of trying it one more time. (I still have a dozen balls in the attic and I found a DB tank pattern I like.)

You have to let us know what her reaction is when she finally sees it. What will you do if she asks for a matching dress?!?

I'd wear that dress if it fit me! I love the pattern and the color. I think it's just fine that Brown Kitty is black and white. When I was four I named a solid colored dog Spotty, and I had the option of choosing a spotted dog when we went to pick the dog up. If someone dares to tell Becky that Brown Kitty isn't brown, I think she should kick that person in the shins.

The kitty sweater is just darling...funny the things we do for our little ones isn't it??
Your husband sounds like mine (re: the double take and laughing) -- I knit a winter sweater and hat for my yard goose and he said "boy dear you REALLY need a life...." Oh well... never appreciated in our own homes.... LOL!!!
