Brown kitty is pretty in pink!
:)
That is the cutest kitty outfit I have ever seen. Adorable! Brown kitty and Becky will love it! :)
Posted by annie at December 15, 2004 05:52 PMThanks guys! I am so excited to give it to her!
Factoid: Brown kitty wears my old Rhinebeck admission wristband as a necklace....
Posted by Leigh at December 15, 2004 06:04 PMI like your very last idea. What else are kids for but to play with their little minds?
;-)
Posted by claudia at December 15, 2004 06:37 PMhaha! I second your opinion on the cashmerino aran. Though I'm thinking of trying it one more time. (I still have a dozen balls in the attic and I found a DB tank pattern I like.)
You have to let us know what her reaction is when she finally sees it. What will you do if she asks for a matching dress?!?
Posted by Kerstin at December 15, 2004 07:36 PMOh, that is the sweetest. What a loving mommy you are.
I especially admire the inventive and very princessy ruffle at the bottom. What brown kitty doesn't enjoy being a girl?
What a cute outfit for the brown kitty.
Posted by Suzanne at December 15, 2004 08:06 PMHow lovely. Brown Kitty has quite the wardrobe.
Posted by eyeleen at December 15, 2004 08:35 PMLeigh, Brown Kitty is looking purrrfect. Lovely job. : )
Posted by Cindy at December 15, 2004 09:29 PMBrown kitty is so sweet! Bet she loves her new dress. It is a good giggle that's for sure.
Posted by margene at December 15, 2004 09:46 PMI'd wear that dress if it fit me! I love the pattern and the color. I think it's just fine that Brown Kitty is black and white. When I was four I named a solid colored dog Spotty, and I had the option of choosing a spotted dog when we went to pick the dog up. If someone dares to tell Becky that Brown Kitty isn't brown, I think she should kick that person in the shins.
Posted by Susan at December 15, 2004 09:52 PMYou win the WORLD'S BEST MOMMY Award today! The littel outfit is just too cute. I can't wait to hear about Becky's reaction.
Posted by Jackie at December 16, 2004 07:34 AMOoh, that sweet little Beckyface. What a great idea, Leigh, to knit Brown Kitty some new holiday duds. You're one terrific mom!
Posted by Kim at December 16, 2004 07:58 AMThe kitty sweater is just darling...funny the things we do for our little ones isn't it??
Your husband sounds like mine (re: the double take and laughing) -- I knit a winter sweater and hat for my yard goose and he said "boy dear you REALLY need a life...." Oh well... never appreciated in our own homes.... LOL!!!
so cute!! we have a blue bear in our house called pinky bear! odd names these girls give their toys..
Posted by kerrie at December 16, 2004 09:18 AMWhat an adorable petite sweater for Becky's kitty! How sweet! Yea, Mommy!!!!
Posted by sUsAn at December 16, 2004 10:41 AMBe still, my heart! That is cuter than cute. Hmmmm . . . I wonder if Lucy would consent to wearing a little pink dress?
Posted by Wendy at December 17, 2004 07:57 AMLove it. Wish mine was still little enough to get away with that. She would love it. I will have to remember that idea though it will be adorable for a grand some day.
Posted by Patti Ripley at December 20, 2004 12:36 PMWow ... the pink sweater is pretty! Good work.
