And I just got a big, brand-new microwave with the cool rotating plate. Not that I've got any newly-born yarn or anything.....

Posted by carolyn at March 28, 2005 09:31 PMHey, it's the early spring Oh-my-God-I'm-going-to-Maryland-in-just-a-few-weeks spinning frenzy. A recognized malady. Been doing a bit myself, but the messed-up leg (combined with the availability of leftover Easter egg dye) has now sidetracked me into dyeing.
Posted by Karen at March 28, 2005 09:49 PMI can only speak for myself but I love to come here and read about your spinning adventures. I am living the life of a spinner vicariously through you.
Posted by elisabeth at March 29, 2005 10:41 AMYou know? its a good thing that I'm not going to be with you long enough for you to get me hooked on spinning. I dont think Wayne would let me back into the country if I took home ANOTHER hobby!
Posted by kerrie at March 29, 2005 10:52 AMI like the turquoise with the orange. I know it's just there for space considerations, but I still think it's a happy accident.
We shall have to keep notes of purchases at MD? Hah!

Posted by Kim at March 30, 2005 10:51 PMWait! I'm such a spinning virgin -- why do you microwave it?
Your stuff looks GORGEOUS.
Ummm...why would you put your yarn in the microwave? I've heard of freezing to eliminate moths but isn't the m-w rather drastic...I had a tv dinner once catch on fire. Not a pretty picture! I'd be afraid of yarn incinerating!
