Comments: Hello, is it Monday?

perfectly logical, indeed. However, it is a very nice red sock and would look smashing with a match. :)

Leigh logic. Everyone duck and cover.

;-)

I love illogical logic! Hope you had a good weekend...

Ooooo, so THAT is why I like you so much? Birds of a feather! I like non matched socks.
:)

Well. I guess I won't send my daughter to this site to learn logic for her upcoming LSATs....or maybe I should, actually. Does sound a bit like lawyer-logic. ;-D

You are a silly sock knitter, aren't you? At least, my dear, you are capable of producing a FO... I can't seem to wrap my needles around anything these days.

Posted by Tiffany at August 22, 2005 06:24 PM

Yeh! Well at least you finished the sock.....I don't ever seem to get that far. I love the logic - why not start on another completely unrelated project? Thats what I do.

Pretty! Hope your flying was a breeze and you had a great time.

It is a very beautiful sock. It reminds me of my daughter... who hasn't yet found a matching mate. I would knit two of these socks if I knew where the pattern was. (hint hint)

Oh, pretty pretty sock. What yarn please? And what pattern please? Even with an oversized mate of a different color, I like it. :)

Posted by Laura at August 22, 2005 09:06 PM

you weren't working on that at my house, when the hell did this finishing occur? :)

Posted by carolyn at August 22, 2005 09:48 PM

Not a thing wrong with different color socks in my book! I have a reflex against matching too much - when I pick out a hairband in the morning, if the first one I pick up is the same color as my clothes, I put it down and grab something that doesn't "go".

That's precisely the kind of logic I can relate to. Unfortunately.

I love that pattern. Where is it from so I can make some ? I have been looking for a cable patterned sock but haven't seem to found the one I'm looking for.

Posted by Morgan at August 23, 2005 10:45 PM

Good idea. Or, why not a mitten? Fingerless glove? I say go for the full mismatched effect!

Gorgeous red sock and would easily go with any other sock you damn well wanted to wear with it. Really, nice work!

Are those Nancy Bush's Cable and Ribs from the last IK? Your color choice shows them off so much better than the dark stuff I chose when I started them a couple months back. Now where are they....

that's a great pattern! i love it.

Posted by lynette at August 25, 2005 02:05 PM

What a pretty sock! I especially love the toe treatment.

Posted by katie at August 26, 2005 03:35 PM

A gorgeous sock! You have used logic that Spock would be proud of. So knit lots and prosper. ;-)

Posted by Bonnie at August 28, 2005 05:42 PM

perfectly logical! That is a great looking sock!! Why knit the mate, when it is so much more fun to start another.....hehe.
