Love the gargoyle cat! Did you paint him? And a speakeasy ~ you wild woman, you! I think I'll just hang out here with you today. The hassling has gotten out of hand over at my place. Why people think they can misbehave over there is beyond me. ;)
Posted by Kerstin at May 19, 2003 11:53 AMHi Kerstin,
yes, do come over! We'll barricade ourselves in the basement with a big bottle o' moonshine whilst the kiddies ransack the rest of the place. (ha!)
The gargoyle was made by a plasterer who used to live here. (It distracted me from the sorry lack of closet space in this here house. It was unpainted at the time and I had to buy the house just so I could paint it.) Anyway, I painted in in a blitz of crazy energy during pregnancy.
Your house is very special. Not every house has a gargoyle cat. Some have real cats. Do you have a safety latch on the secret door? You don't want any vermin getting in. hee hee!
Bunnies??? How cute!
Kids??? Even cuter!!! They are precious! Don't they love those balls? And don't you just sit there thinking, "geez, I don't know what't down there, blech". Maybe I worried too much. My kids don't seem to be adversly affected and they jumped in plenty of ball pits in their time!
8 projects going at a time? That's all? Get knitting!
Sandy
i LOVE the secret cabinet! you need some secret stuff to put in there! :) you can make up secret scary stories about it for halloween! ooooo.
Posted by carolyn at May 20, 2003 08:22 AMWho cares about closet space when you have a plaster cat?
My husband calls those balls "germ balls".
Posted by Melissa at May 20, 2003 09:44 AMHi Leigh,
Your kids are so adorable! Why didn't you bring them to MDS&W???We really could have had fun.
It was great meeting you, and I hope we can do it again, maybe on my side of the ocean if you want?
Love the house mini tour. Can't wait to see Easy Breezie, Lemon Peezy!
