Comments: Kool-Aid Dye Experiment

You don't like the smell? Oh, why not? ;) Was it fun? Would you do it again? What are you going to do with it now? Do you want me to think of more questions? :)

Awesome! I have got to do that sometime. Too bad you don't live around here so you could come over and take me through it step by step! The colors came out great. Will you make a kool-aid sweater now?

Try wet wool that was MUSTY to begin with and now is musty wet wool that smells like 8 different Kool Aid flavors. Yikes!
Did the package arrive? Hope it was all OK.

Hi Leigh~

This sounds like a fun project to do with kids! I have 2 girls (4 and almost 3) that would love it (anything remotely messy is high on their list of favorite things to do)! I've seen Fisherman's Wool at Michael's and AC Moore (both in PA). Must get a skein and give it a go. I've been reading your blog for awhile now (I think this is my first comment but can't recall for certain. Found you via Kerrie's blog) and do enjoy it! Looking forward to seeing what you do with your Kool Aid Wool now.

Don't ever buy Fisherman's at Joann's again! It's like, $3.00 more expensive than AC Moore, and AC Moore always has those 40 or 50% off coupons!!

Great colors! Especially the dusky pink is very beautiful, I like it! Unfortunately here in germany you can't get Kool Aid, I 'd love to try dying with it.
What will you do with your skeins now? :)
